The Compose feature in SocialPulses lets you create posts for any of your connected social channels. You can write custom content for each platform or use our AI Content Generator to speed up the process.
Opening the Composer
Click Compose in the left sidebar or use the "New Post" quick action on the Dashboard.
The composer opens with a clean editor where you can write your post content.
Writing Your Post
- Text — Type your message in the main text area. Character limits vary by platform (shown below the editor).
- Media — Click the media icon to upload images or videos from your Media Library or your computer.
- Emojis — Click the emoji icon to insert emojis directly into your post.
- Hashtags — Type # followed by keywords, or use your saved hashtag groups.
Customizing Per Platform
When posting to multiple platforms, you can customize the content for each one:
- Click the platform tabs at the top of the composer to switch between platforms.
- Each platform can have its own unique caption, hashtags, and media.
- The platform indicator shows character count and any platform-specific requirements.
Publishing Options
Publish Now — Click the "Publish" button to post immediately to selected channels.
Schedule — Click the calendar icon to pick a date and time. The post will be published automatically at the scheduled time.
Save as Draft — Not ready to publish? Save as a draft and come back later.
Tip: Use the "Preview" button to see how your post will look on each platform before publishing.
After Publishing
- Published posts appear in your History with a "Published" status.
- Scheduled posts appear in the Calendar and History with a "Scheduled" status.
- You can edit or delete scheduled posts from the Calendar or History.
