Social Listening with Topics

Social Listening lets you monitor conversations across social media platforms for mentions of your brand, products, competitors, or industry topics. Stay on top of what people are saying in real-time.

Creating a Listening Topic

Navigate to Listening from the left sidebar.

Click "Create Topic".

Enter the keywords or phrases you want to track (e.g., your brand name, product names, industry terms).

Select the platforms to monitor (X/Twitter, Reddit, etc.).

Choose language and region filters to narrow results.

Click "Create Topic" to start monitoring.

Viewing Mentions

The Listening dashboard shows:

  • Mention Feed — Real-time feed of all mentions matching your topics.
  • Sentiment Analysis — See whether mentions are positive, negative, or neutral.
  • Volume Trends — Track how mention volume changes over time.
  • Top Sources — Which platforms and accounts mention your topics most.

Taking Action

  • Reply — Respond directly to mentions from the Listening dashboard.
  • Save — Bookmark important mentions for later review.
  • Create Post — Turn a trending topic into a post idea.

Pro Tip: Create separate topics for brand mentions, competitor tracking, and industry trends. This helps you organize insights and take targeted action.
