Connecting your social media channels is the most important step in setting up SocialPulses. Once connected, you can create, schedule, and analyze posts across all your platforms from one central dashboard.
Supported Platforms
SocialPulses supports 11 major platforms: Instagram, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Google Business, and Mastodon.
How to Connect a Channel
Log in to your SocialPulses account and click Accounts in the left sidebar.
Click the "Connect Account" button in the top-right corner.
Select the platform you want to connect from the list. You'll be redirected to that platform's authorization page.
Log in to your social media account (if not already) and authorize SocialPulses to manage your posts and read analytics.
You'll be redirected back to SocialPulses. Your channel now appears in the Accounts list with a green "Connected" indicator.
Managing Connected Accounts
- View Accounts — See all connected accounts with platform icons and profile info.
- Disconnect — Click the three dots menu next to an account and select "Disconnect."
- Reconnect — If a token expires, you'll see a warning. Simply click "Reconnect" to re-authorize.
- Account Limits — Free plan: 3 accounts. Starter: 5 accounts. Professional: 15 accounts. Business: Unlimited.
Note: Some platforms like TikTok and Instagram have specific API limitations. If you encounter connection issues, ensure your social media account meets the platform's developer requirements.
Troubleshooting
- "Authorization failed" — Try clearing your browser cache and reconnecting.
- "Account already connected" — You can only connect one account per platform profile. If you manage multiple accounts, create separate profiles or use our multi-account support.
- Token expired — Social media tokens expire periodically. Reconnect from the Accounts page to refresh them.
