Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") forms part of the Terms of Service between SocialPulses ("Processor") and you ("Controller") when processing personal data on your behalf under applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR.

1. Scope and Roles

SocialPulses acts as a Processor for personal data you submit to the platform (social media account credentials, content drafts, analytics data). You are the Controller and determine the purposes and means of processing.

2. Data Processing Details

• Categories of data subjects: Your employees, contractors, customers, and social media followers
• Types of personal data: Names, email addresses, social media handles, profile information, content drafts, analytics data
• Processing purposes: Social media scheduling, publishing, analytics, AI content generation, and account management
• Processing duration: Duration of your account plus 90 days post-termination

3. Technical and Organizational Measures

SocialPulses implements the following security measures:

• Encryption at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3)
• Access controls with role-based permissions
• Regular security audits and vulnerability scanning
• 24/7 monitoring and incident response
• Automated daily encrypted backups

4. Sub-processors

You authorize the following sub-processors:

• Google Cloud Platform — Cloud infrastructure and hosting
• DeepSeek / OpenAI — AI content generation services
• Stripe — Payment processing (no social media data shared)
• PostgreSQL — Database services
• Redis — Caching and rate limiting

5. Data Subject Rights

SocialPulses will promptly notify you of any data subject requests received and cooperate with your response within the statutory timeframe.

6. Data Breach Notification

SocialPulses will notify you within 48 hours of becoming aware of a personal data breach affecting your data.

7. Governing Law

This DPA is governed by the laws of the UAE, with the parties agreeing to cooperate on any cross-border data transfer mechanisms required under GDPR.
